Music​/Voice Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music/Voice Teacher to provide high quality private and small group vocal instruction in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you will teach students of all ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and performances, and communicate progress with parents and school partners. You'll collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment, maintain accurate scheduling and records, and help foster a welcoming, student centered environment that aligns with our mission of expanding access to music education in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group voice lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals and abilities
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and performances
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and school partners
• Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and lesson records
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Incorporate music theory, ear training, and proper vocal technique into instruction
• Support Music & Arts' mission of expanding access to music education
