. This full-time opportunity allows you to support students with diverse learning needs while working alongside a collaborative school team.

Position Details

Location: East Orange, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time (32.5 hours/week, 6.5-hour days)
School Year: September 3, 2026 – June 23, 2027
Setting: One school, self-contained Special Education classroom

Compensation Range - $35/hr - $55/hr ( Based on experience, qualifications and caseload)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom.
• Implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with case managers, LDTCs, and school staff.
• Foster a positive, structured learning environment that supports student success.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ TOH or TOSD endorsement.
• Appropriate NJ teaching certification for the assigned grade level and/or subject area.
• Previous Special Education experience preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
