Children of America (COA) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Expansion Program Preschool Teacher to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality preschool education to eligible three- and four-year-old children through a partnership between the school district and Children of America.

As a Preschool Teacher, you'll help create an environment where children can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically while preparing for their next stage of education.

As an Expansion Program Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate daily lesson plans and learning activities
• Lead classroom instruction using COA's Mind and Body Matters curriculum
• Create a structured, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
• Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Establish appropriate classroom expectations and routines
• Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones
• Complete child progress reports and required classroom documentation
• Communicate professionally and consistently with parents and families
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Respond to children's individual needs with patience, empathy, and understanding
• Utilize technology to support documentation, communication, and child progress tracking
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom
• Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and district partners
• Participate in professional development and training
• Follow COA policies, procedures, curriculum expectations, and all applicable state requirements

We're looking for an experienced early childhood educator who is passionate about teaching preschool-aged children and committed to creating meaningful learning experiences.

• Bachelor's degree
• Completion of an approved teacher preparation program
• P-3 Certificate of Eligibility (CE)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Must meet all applicable state licensing and program requirements
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
