ESOL Spanish Teacher in Toms River, NJ

Step into a dynamic school environment as a dedicated Spanish and ESOL educator working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade for the upcoming academic year. This full-time opportunity allows you to engage learners in both general and Spanish language education, building students communication and cultural skills in an inclusive, school-based setting. Your schedule will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In this role, youll have the chance to inspire a diverse caseload working full-time with Pre-K to 8th-grade students, and part-time with those in grades 3 through 8. As a valued team member, youll tailor your approach to meet the needs of each student, supporting both their academic achievement and their language acquisition. The contract runs from September 8, 2026, to June 22, 2027, presenting a rewarding and impactful teaching experience.

• Current New Jersey Teaching License, valid for the  school year
• Spanish Teaching Certification
• Experience teaching in ESOL, general education, or Spanish classroom settings
• Comfort and creativity in adapting lessons for grades Pre-K through 8
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage families
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Provide Spanish language instruction to PK-8th grade students
• Teach both full and part-time caseloads across a range of grade levels
• Develop inclusive, engaging lesson plans and classroom activities
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff to create integrated learning opportunities

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.50 to $48.50.
