Boxwood Learning Center, Inc. is a 501 C 3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to create learning environments for supporting the whole person by way of tutoring, mentoring, and career exploration. Ameri Corps Members are people of the community with a passion and desire to give back and support others! We'll train our members on GED Tutoring practices, Restorative Justice Circles, and Trauma Informed First Aid to best support our young champions on their way to success.
Our target population is those involved with local schools and the justice system. For those in schools we can support them with mentoring, homework assistance, coaching, and decision‑making workshops. As for those out of schools, we're able to provide GED tutoring to achieve their high school diploma.
