Environmental Technician or Scientist

Trident Environmental is
HIRING an additional full-time environmental professional for our existing Toms River, NJ office to assist senior personnel in managing multiple projects and site related activities. Included in the position responsibilities will be: (1) conducting environmental field inspections and/or site investigations; (2) sample collection and transportation activities; (3) supervising contractor personnel and/or sub-contracted personnel; (4) data evaluation and report preparation; and (5) proposal preparation and invoice review.

Qualified candidates should have the following skills and/or credentials:

• Academic degree in geology, engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• 0 – 3 years of experience performing environmental investigations and/or remediations.
• Knowledge of technical requirements, rules, and regulatory compliance objectives.
• Confidence directing and/or supervising sub-contracted and/or contracted personnel.
• Strong work ethic, persistent intellectual curiosity, and collegial personality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to job sites across North America.
