- Provide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support to local site business partners
- Support compliance programs including General Occupational Safety, High-Risk Work, Industrial Hygiene, and Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs
- Complete one or more projects during the 10–12 week internship
- Receive direction and implement corresponding changes
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/master’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program
- Completed at least 2 years of college coursework
- Able to work full time for 10–12 weeks
- Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and computer skills
- Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes
- Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions
- Prior internship or work experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety or chemical manufacturing preferred
- Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions clearly and concisely preferred
- Ability to work in a small team preferred
- Must be a US or Puerto Rico resident
- No visa sponsorship available
