About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead governance-aligned architecture for a Finacle-based wire transfers modernization program within a highly regulated banking environment
.
This role is responsible for defining and operationalizing hybrid cloud solution architecture spanning AWS and on-premises Red Hat Open Shift
, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and internal risk frameworks
.
The architect will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams (Development, Dev Ops, Platform Engineering), infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams to ensure architecture artifacts are audit-ready and aligned with the Permit to Operate lifecycle
.
This position requires a balance of deep technical expertise, architecture leadership, and regulatory awareness to support mission-critical, high-volume wire transfer platforms
.
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security layers.
- Lead the modernization and re-architecture strategy for Finacle-integrated wire platforms, including legacy decomposition, API enablement, and hybrid cloud adoption
. - Design scalable, secure, and highly available architectures aligned with enterprise resiliency standards, including clearly defined RTO and RPO objectives
. - Lead architecture design across Amazon EKS and on-premises Red Hat Open Shift
, ensuring secure connectivity and workload portability. - Define secure hybrid networking, DNS resolution, and cross-environment routing strategies aligned with enterprise governance.
- Establish secure service-to-service communication patterns
, including mTLS and service mesh strategies where appropriate.
- Ensure architecture supports regulatory reporting, transaction monitoring, AML, and sanctions integration requirements
. - Produce and guide architecture artifacts through Architecture Review Board, Risk, Security, and Control governance forums
. - Develop and maintain regulatory traceability matrices mapping business requirements, control objectives, regulatory obligations, and technical implementations.
- Support regulatory exams, audits, and remediation programs when required.
- Provide architectural oversight of Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Sec Ops controls
. - Ensure transaction integrity and data consistency in distributed environments using idempotent processing, resilient workflow orchestration, and failure recovery patterns
. - Oversee documentation of end-to-end wire transaction flows, data lineage, integration points, and operational readiness artifacts
.
- Act as a senior technical advisor
, translating complex architectural and regulatory requirements into clear technical strategies. - Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- 10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture or Enterprise Architecture within regulated financial environments.
- Proven experience leading modernization initiatives for wire payments or mission-critical financial platforms
. - Strong expertise in AWS cloud services
, including EKS, encryption, key management, and secure hybrid integration patterns
. - Hands-on architectural experience with Red Hat Open Shift in enterprise environments.
- Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures balancing security, compliance, performance, and resiliency
. - Experience implementing high-availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region architectures with clearly defined RTO and RPO objectives
. - Familiarity with wire payment ecosystems such as Fedwire, SWIFT, and CHIPS
. - Strong experience in architecture governance, regulatory control mapping, risk integration, and audit support
. - Experience guiding architecture through structured stage-gate governance and Permit to Operate processes
. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as OCC
, Federal Reserve
, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act
.
- Experience with Finacle 11.x or similar core banking platforms supporting wire payments.
- Experience supporting ISO 20022 transformation initiatives.
- Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency financial transaction platforms
. - TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
