Privacy External Analyst

Length: Contract through 2026 with strong possibility of extension

Start Date: ASAP

• Monitor and analyze the external privacy and data protection landscape, including regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
• Track and assess privacy implications related to AI, data governance frameworks, real-world data, and advanced analytics.
• Synthesize external insights and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Data Science, Privacy, Legal, and R&D to apply learnings in a practical, business-relevant way.
• Support the development of proactive privacy strategies that enable innovation while protecting patient data.
• Prepare summaries, briefings, and recommendations to help internal teams stay informed and compliant.
• Act as a collaborative team member, contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives within the Privacy function.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, public policy, law, information systems, or related discipline).
• Knowledge of global privacy regulations and trends (e.g., GDPR, evolving data protection frameworks).
• Familiarity with AI, data governance concepts, and real-world data in a research or healthcare context.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate complex external information into clear insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, while also excelling as a collaborative team player.

• Experience working in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments.
• Prior experience supporting privacy, compliance, or data governance initiatives.
• Exposure to cross-functional collaboration within data science or technology-driven teams.
