Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Process Technician to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have warehouse and/or manufacturing experience, be comfortable working independently, follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

The role involves processing organic bovine bone using a band saw, maintaining equipment and work areas, completing required documentation, and supporting various manufacturing and facility operations.

Paid training is provided. Forklift experience is a plus.

Education/Experience
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating a band saw or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and documented work instructions.
  • Comfortable performing light mathematical calculations using a scale.
  • Ability to work in cold to semi-cold environments.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
Skills/Knowledge
  • Safe operation of band saws and related equipment.
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to accurately complete forms, batch records, labels, and cleaning logs.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to safely operate heavy machinery after appropriate training.
Responsibilities Equipment Operation & Processing
  • Operate a band saw to cut and process organic bovine bone according to established procedures.
  • Safely assemble, operate, disassemble, and clean the band saw.
  • Follow all safety requirements associated with operating heavy machinery.
  • Use scales and perform basic mathematical calculations as required.
  • Monitor and clean freezers according to established procedures.
  • Follow all applicable processing procedures and company policies.
Documentation & Quality
  • Complete labels, forms, batch records, and cleaning logbooks in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Maintain accurate and complete production records.
  • Follow established procedures to protect product integrity and quality.
  • Ensure all processing activities are completed according to documented requirements.
Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Clean equipment, materials, utensils, and processing rooms at the end of each workday.
  • Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Participate in facility cleaning activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Material Handling & Manufacturing Support
  • Participate in incoming bone receipt activities.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries.
  • Safely handle and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs multiple times throughout the day.
  • Cross-train and provide support in other areas of manufacturing as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in cold to semi-cold conditions.
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment safely.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail during processing and documentation activities.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a manufacturing or warehouse professional who is comfortable operating equipment, following SOPs, performing physically demanding work, and maintaining strict cleanliness and documentation standards.

Candidates with experience in food processing, meat processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, warehouse operations, or other regulated manufacturing environments may be particularly well suited for this position.
