The Department of Family Medicine delivers high-quality, patient-centered primary care services with a strong emphasis on medical education at both the undergraduate (UME) and graduate (GME) levels.
OpportunitySeeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Family Medicine for a full-time outpatient position.
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care for patients across the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics).
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease.
- Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic testing, prescribe and manage medications, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and wellness strategies.
- Opportunities available for teaching and mentorship within the university’s medical education programs.
- EMR system utilized across the system for documentation and care coordination.
$125,000 – $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
