Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox, offering a dignified and comfortable medical detox process. Clients stay in modern, elegantly furnished rooms with good nutrition and receive individual and group counseling, as well as 12 Step meetings.

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing general care to patients admitted to the facility. This position performs physical examinations and works closely with the Medical Director to develop appropriate health care plans and goals.

• Perform History and Physical for all patients within 24 hours of admission
• Order and interpret lab tests
• Prescribe non‑controlled medications and controlled substances
• Provide education related to medical issues and detox
• Provide compassionate support through all process phases
• Work with multidisciplinary team to discuss, assess and resolve patient problems

• Active and clean Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner license
• Substance abuse experience preferred but not required
• CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience

• 4 to 6 hours per shift in the facility
• 2–3 shifts per week
• One weekend day may be required

Daily rate competitive with experience and location.
