Clinical Care Technician Geriatric Unit

Job Overview

A Clinical Care Technician provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff in the Geriatric Unit at Community Medical Center. The position is full‑time, night shift, 36 hours per week from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

• Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred:
  • Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Night shift, 36 hours per week, 6 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

• The CCT directly assists patients with activities of daily living and performs nursing care tasks including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Provides patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to patient age.
• Ensures effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
• Communicates regularly with patients and nursing staff regarding patient status.
• Participates in the collaboration of patient plans of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.
