Position: Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Make a Difference in Patient Care Every Day! Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates, a division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team in Toms River, NJ.

Pay

$30–$31/hour, based on experience.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)
  • Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Record vital signs, medical histories, medications, and update the EMR
  • Assist physicians with injections, wound care, nail procedures, wart treatments, and minor surgeries
  • Prepare procedure rooms, surgical equipment, and sterile instruments
  • Apply dressings, DME, and medical strappings
  • Perform digital X-rays and prepare lab specimens
  • Process prescription requests, insurance verifications, and EMR documentation
  • Educate patients on post-procedure care and provide follow-up communication
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms
Required Skills And Experience
  • Active New Jersey LPN license required
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • At least one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of EMRs, HIPAA, and medical terminology
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Patient-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude
