Job Description

Blue Surge Technologies, Inc. () is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the sales of our Internet of Thing (IoT) solutions to OEMs, carriers, service providers and diversified enterprises. As a key member of the team, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for generating new business with new clients;

building business relationships; executing sales strategies; meeting and/or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets and presenting ongoing business reviews on clients’ accounts.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in the development of sales and marketing strategies to drive sales to new and existing customers.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the portfolio of products and services on offer and confidently speak to clients about various solutions.
  • Develop new sales channels; carriers, service providers, heavy equipment manufacturers/distributors.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify and create winning sales strategies and new product opportunities.
  • Generate and close business leads leveraging knowledge, interpersonal skills, and collaboration with the teams located in the USA and Canada.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, ROI models and other collaterals.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the Industry and provide necessary feedback to the management.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales objectives.
  • Participate in the enhancement of solutions and development of new services through constructive feedback.
  • Thrive in start-up/ small team environment and demonstrate exceptional teamwork.
  • Maintain and continuously update opportunities list.
  • Periodic review of business won, opportunities and achievements with the management.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present solutions convincingly.
  • Well versed with developments in the industry.
  • At least five years of business development / sales experience with demonstrated success in the technology industry.
  • Developed MS Office suite experiences, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed oriented and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and manages time and prioritizes projects.
  • Bilingual – English and French as an added advantage.
