Pool Field Sampler

Pool Sampling Position:

Monday - Friday

Pay: $18.50 hr. (roughly 25-35 hours a week)

Mileage: $0.70 per mile (plus tolls and parking)

Job Description:

Sampling pools and spas at public facilities (ex. Hotels, condos, township pools)

Job entails driving to different facilities, sampling pool or spas for pH and residual chlorine, which is done in the field, pulling a bacteria sample to be brought back to the lab to be analyzed for Total Coliform Bacteria or Pseudomonas Bacteria and Standard Plate Count Bacteria.

Sampling is done at a high pace as pools samples need to be back to the lab within 7 hours or sampling and spa samples need to be back to lab within 5 hours of sampling. You would be provided with a schedule with the route planned out.

Must be available beginning May 6th through August 31st. (Training will be the first and second week of May)

Must have the following:

* a reliable car

* A cell phone

* A GPS

* A valid clean driver's license
