The Environmental Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Toms River, NJ. This position involves conducting field investigations, site assessments, and sampling activities related to soil, groundwater, and other environmental media. The consultant prepares technical reports, supports remediation project design and oversight, and assists with Brownfields redevelopment and underground storage tank projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing environmental impact assessments, supporting regulatory permitting and compliance activities, and communicating findings and recommendations to project managers and clients.

The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, maintaining accurate project documentation, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Consulting and Environmental Science.
• Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Compliance.
• Candidates should possess strong Report Writing skills.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with fieldwork, sampling methods, and use of environmental monitoring equipment.
  
  Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, particularly in NJ and PA.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work safely on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
