Technician-Boilers
to ensure our clients' systems operate at peak efficiency.
This isn't just a "cleaning" job—it is the front line of preventative maintenance. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of boiler heat exchangers, tubes, and combustion chambers, directly impacting the longevity and safety of our clients' equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Fireside Cleaning:Remove soot, scale, and debris from combustion chambers and boiler tubes using industrial vacuums, brushes, and scraping tools.
- Waterside Maintenance:Open manholes/handholes to flush out sediment, scale, and mud; replace gaskets and prepare the unit for inspection.
- Safety Compliance:Strictly adhere to OSHA standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and confined space entry procedures.
- Site Professionalism:Represent SCB at high-profile sites (schools, housing complexes), maintaining a clean workspace and communicating effectively with facility managers.
- Digital Reporting:Use our field service software (Build Ops) to document work performed, take photos of before/after conditions, and flag potential repair needs for our service team.
- Physical Stamina:Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or high-temperature mechanical rooms.
- Technical Aptitude:Experience with hand tools and power tools is a must. Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, or industrial cleaning is a major plus.
- Reliability:A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. Our clients depend on us being there when we say we will.
