UPS is seeking a Cross-Belt Sorter Controls Tech at our New Jersey sorting facility. You will maintain the PLC and I/O systems controlling our cross-belt sortation loop, troubleshoot carrier belt faults using diagnostic software, configure barcode scanner trigger timing, and keep the sort system running at maximum capacity.
Requirements- 3+ years of sortation controls or industrial PLC experience
- Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting expertise
- Understanding of cross-belt sorter control architecture
- Barcode scanner network configuration experience
- Ability to work third shift (11 PM - 7 AM)
