Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appliance Technician to join our dedicated service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing a wide range of household appliances, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with a proven track record in appliance repair and field service operations.

Duties Diagnose and repair various household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Perform appliance installations and replacements efficiently while adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues.

Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic to identify faults accurately. Conduct routine maintenance on appliances and related equipment to prevent future failures. Operate company vehicles such as box trucks safely for delivery and service calls. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up requirements.

Assist in inventory management of parts and tools necessary for field operations. Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and ensure timely completion of work orders. Qualifications Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or in a similar field service role with a strong background in appliance installation and repair. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals.

Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, plumbing connections, and electrical work related to appliances. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies. Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently through systematic diagnosis. Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or similar delivery vehicles safely. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience relevant to appliance systems.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls effectively. This position is integral to maintaining high standards of appliance performance for our customers.
