Job Description
Growing commercial/ industrial electrical contracting company seeking a full-time electrical journeyman! The Journeyman is primarily responsible for installing the electrical scope for the given project. He/ She must be hands on, a self starter, takes pride in their work and a positive/ optimistic person.
Qualifications- Minimum two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches.
- Pass a background check, including drug test.
- Ability to successfully install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Knowledge using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge with construction documents, blueprints, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installations procedures.
- Knowledge installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
- Has a basic understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.
- Perform work as directed by the foreman/ direct supervisor
- Install different type of electrical systems and components in various commercial and industrial facilities.
- Analyzes and quickly report any work problems to supervisor
- Follows the companies the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work
