Job Description
Opportunity: Full-time Mechanic at our Tonawanda, NY facility
Shift:
Wages: $27.89 to 38.51 per hour, rate dependent upon experience.
- $0.50 extra per hour on afternoon shift.
- Hours:
3pm - 11pm, 2nd shift position. - Must be available to work weekends.

The Mechanic performs a wide array of work relating to equipment and facilities maintenance in a food manufacturing plant. Installing new lines and equipment and maintaining all existing equipment. This role covers maintenance tasks of varying scope with a high level of autonomy throughout the facility including preventative and corrective. Essential skills include troubleshooting/repair of various systems and equipment with a focus on customer service.
Critical attributes include willingness and ability to promote positive safety behaviors as well as demonstrating a professional approach in working others to share and build understanding of best practices.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all production equipment including preventative and corrective maintenance. Adjust and repair equipment as needed to ensure it is running efficiently.
- Investigate, diagnose, test, calibrate, install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electronic and mechanical equipment and systems throughout the plant, to ensure optimal asset utilization, productivity, efficiency,…
