Inside Sales

Alro Steel Corp is seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our manufacturing-focused distribution team in Jackson, MI. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound sales for metals, plastics, and industrial supplies, providing quotes, processing orders, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will build long-term relationships, coordinate with operations and logistics for on-time delivery, and support customers with product selection.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound sales calls for metals, plastics, and industrial supplies
• Prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders in ERP/CRM systems
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships in assigned territory
• Provide product selection guidance and basic technical support
• Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
• Track opportunities, follow up on leads, and meet sales targets
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Alro Steel inventory and services
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate when needed
