FLEX​/FLOAT Security Officers

Securitas is hiring FLEX/FLOAT Security Officers to provide reliable coverage across multiple client locations. In this role, you will perform patrols, access control, and visitor management while monitoring for safety hazards and security risks. You will respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, documenting all activity in detailed reports. As a flexible officer, you adapt to different sites, post orders, and schedules, delivering professional, customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible security coverage across multiple client sites as a float officer
• Control access, verify identification, and manage visitor and contractor entry
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and security systems; respond to incidents and emergencies
• Document incidents and daily activities in clear, accurate reports
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Follow post orders, safety procedures, and company policies at each site
• Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch to cover schedule gaps and special needs
