MET Technician

Our client is seeking a highly skilled MET Technician to join their busy accident repair centre in Liskeard. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MET Technician to work within a reputable company that values technical expertise and offers competitive compensation. The role of the MET Technician is critical in maintaining the high standards of vehicle repairs and service delivery.

Conduct accident repairs on a variety of vehicles, including stripping, fitting, suspension, and mechanical repair tasks Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently to meet insurance specifications Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure repairs conform to client and manufacturer guidelines Complete accurate documentation and repair reports to ensure traceability and quality assurance Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment Work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues to meet deadlines and productivity goals Requirements:
Proven experience as an MET Technician, auto electrician, or in a similar role within accident repair Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles Ability to work from Monday to Thursday on early shifts High attention to detail with a proactive and methodical approach Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high-quality repair standards Good understanding of insurance repair processes and documentation A relevant qualification or certification in vehicle body repair or mechanical engineering is desirable If you meet these requirements and are looking to advance your career as an MET Technician, we invite you to contact Sam Enderby at Perfect Placement.
