Tooele Motor Company is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our growing team.

As a key member of our Parts Department, you’ll work closely with technicians, service advisors, wholesale accounts, and retail customers to ensure the right parts are delivered accurately and efficiently. Pay$42,000 - $80,000+ per year (based on experience, performance, and commissions where applicable)

- Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with parts requests
- Accurately identify and source OEM and aftermarket parts using manufacturer catalogs and electronic parts systems
- Process customer orders from start to finish while ensuring timely communication on order status
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Pull, package, and stage parts for technician repair orders and customer pickup
- Coordinate special orders and locate out-of-stock parts through outside vendors when necessary
- Verify pricing, availability, and warranty information
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory through bin checks, stocking, and cycle counts
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments
- Ensure internal parts are billed correctly to repair orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer, every time
- Previous automotive parts experience is preferred but not required
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
