Works under the general supervision of the Dental Clinic Manager.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES- Preventive Care Delivery
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, fluoride treatments, and sealant placement. - Clinical Assessment
- Conduct oral health screenings, charting, and risk assessments in accordance with state practice guidelines. - Patient Education
- Provide instruction on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention tailored to individual patient needs. - Infection Control Compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and clinic protocols. - Electronic Health Records
- Document all services accurately and promptly in the EHR system. - Community Outreach Support
- Participate in school‑based programs, mobile clinics, and community events as assigned. - Team Collaboration
- Coordinate care with dental providers and public health staff to ensure continuity and quality of services.
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Utah or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certification in local anesthesia preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with commitment to patient‑centered care.
- Demonstrated interest in public health and serving diverse populations.
- Utah Driver's License is required.
