You’ll collaborate within a supportive team to deliver high-quality instruction and foster an inclusive, nurturing learning atmosphere for young learners with special needs.

• Valid Utah Special Education Teaching License/Certification (required)
• Experience working with elementary‑age students in a life skills or self‑contained setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom culture

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to life skills and academic growth for students in grades K-3
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with related service providers and parents
• Track and document student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and manage classroom routines
• Support students in developing critical functional, academic, and social skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team collaborations as required
