PE Aide Position
Under the direct supervision of the Building Principal, teach weekly physical education to grades K-6. Essential job functions include planning and instructing fun, engaging, and age-appropriate PE activities, establishing and reinforcing positive class management, and overseeing all PE equipment. Additional duties may include performing any other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form, perform physical activities without difficulty, work with diverse groups of individuals, maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees, and others, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, and others contacted in the course of work, and report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.
Effective writing and verbal communication skills are also required.
The working environment includes performing physical activities and working outdoors during outdoor student activities.
Qualifications profile includes having a high school diploma or equivalent and being at least 18 years of age. Apply online. FLSA status is non-exempt. Contract is part-time, time card position level E1, not benefit eligible.
