Provides ammunition/explosive expertise, ammunition handling safety expertise, and equipment fabrication or repair procedure input into the development of equipment for ordnance;
Conducts acceptance testing of pilot model equipment using live ammunition/explosives;
Writes technical reports, and Ammunition Operation SOPs for assigned equipment or projects;
Arranges for and provides input to Equipment Hazard Analysis preparation;
Assembles the Technical Data Package (TDP) for new equipment and coordinates equipment final approval through Headquarters, Joint Munitions Command (JMC);
Prepares training plans, coordinates training efforts, and trains operators in the safe, efficient use of APE
