Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Advanced EMT. This position will be scheduled for up to (4) 12 hour shifts (8AM-8PM) per week.

Responds to an emergency call, assesses the situation, obtains a basic medical history and physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital. Utilizes necessary medical equipment to treat the patient and ascertains the extent of their injuries or illness. Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient's condition, status, and arrival time.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Must hold current licensure to practice as an Advanced EMT in the State of Utah as well as a valid Utah Driver License. BLS, ACLS and PALS or PEPP Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
1 year of experience and familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of an Advanced Emergency Technician preferred.
