Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator
, you’ll help our builders by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You’ll be a vital part of our pallet manufacturing process.

Hourly Pay
: $17.00/hr.

Shift(s): 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Location
: 1820 West H Avenue, Bldg. 641, Tooele, UT 84074.

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with plant management regularly.
• Work overtime as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets (~50 lbs.) regularly.
• Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing (highly preferred).
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Work in extreme conditions (elements, heat, cold, air particulate).
• Repetitive lifting up to 50–75 pounds and adjusting body position for entire shifts.
• Noise level depends on location.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision.
