Inventory Control & Analysis
Oversee production planning activities to ensure efficient flow of materials and components supporting manufacturing schedules and customer demand
Partner with operations, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to maintain production continuity and optimize inventory levels
Schedule productive material required to achieve production plans, activities, or processes
Monitor and manage material and supply inventories
Assess production data, including volume produced, raw-material consumption, and quality-control measures
Estimate and forecast material requirements
Confer with department supervisors to assess progress and discuss needed changes
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to meet production demands
Monitor inventory against standard metrics, including turns, target inventory, and excess/obsolete disposition practices
Revise production schedules due to labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, production, engineering, and work orders
Monitor facility shipping and receiving operations
Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments
Serve as escalation point of contact to the supply base, internal partners/departments, and Corporate management to ensure assembly production to plan
Establish high-level interaction with Canton PDC to ensure successful supply-chain flow
Support implementation of RPPL Materials tasks/objectives during new-product launches
Coordinate accounting activities for invoice corrections/transmittal information, price corrections, and material-cost calculations
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree
- Typically requires 2-4 years of relevant experience or 6 years experience in lieu of degree
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field with minimum of 2 - 4 years applicable experience, or minimum of 6+ years applicable experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Experience in Microsoft Navision or Business Central
- Experience in Paragon/SAP
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- High oral and written skills
- High level of ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience utilizing PowerBI dashboards for data analytics
- Experience utilizing self serve data to analyze and improve planning systems
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application
- Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
Demonstrates expertise in production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization, with a strong ability to analyze production data and forecast material requirements. Proficient in utilizing ERP systems and data analytics tools to enhance operational efficiency.
