- Responsibilities:
Serves as an Air Conditioning Mechanic at the Tooele Army Depot and the Deseret Chemical Depot to perform a variety of duties concerned with the installation.;
Repairs, services, and modifies special-purpose refrigeration and environmental units and systems used to air condition buildings.;
Diagnoses a wide variety of malfunctions pertaining to two-stage refrigeration, complex chilled water systems, high altitude test systems, capacity modulated centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and associated equipment;
Replaces parts as needed including electronic or pneumatic transmitters, hydro stats, flow-rite mix valves, power stroke or electric motors, etc.;
Installs and/or moves equipment and performs preventive maintenance on large and special-purpose equipment
