Diesel Technician

Impact Diesel is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to keep our commercial and industrial clients moving. In this hands-on role, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, trucks, and equipment, performing both troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. You'll work with diagnostic software, electrical and hydraulic systems, and air brakes while following strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drive trains, and related systems on trucks and equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize customer downtime
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and air brake systems using diagnostic tools
• Complete accurate work orders, inspections, and repair documentation
• Follow all safety procedures, shop standards, and environmental regulations
• Communicate findings and repair options clearly to supervisors and customers
• Assist with road calls or emergency repairs when needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
