Air Compressor Mechanic

About the Role

A&A Compressor Experts, is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment and systems. This role supports customers at a variety of job sites, including manufacturing, construction, education, hospital, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, safety-minded, organized, and comfortable communicating with customers and team members. You will have experience in plumbing, refrigeration and electrical, CPU's, HMI's, PLC's, electronic controllers, and downloading and installing web based software.

You can read and understand wiring diagrams, technical data sheets, and dimensional drawings.

• Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to help keep systems operating efficiently.
• Diagnose equipment issues, identify faulty components, and complete repairs or replacements using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on proper equipment use and maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, recommended solutions, and completed work.
• Maintain accurate service records using company-designated software systems.
• Support scheduling, follow‑up, and customer relationship management to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working at customer sites and company facilities.
• Maintain company-assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Maintain clean driving record, and report incidents, accidents and moving violations upon occurrence.
• Stay current with assigned trainings, certifications, industry practices, and technology updates.

• Strong mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve air compressor, dryer, refrigeration, systems and related equipment issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and collaborate with other technicians.
• Physical ability to perform service work that may require lifting, standing, bending, and other physical activity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with compressors, vacuum pumps, dryers, reciprocating and rotary screw equipment, plumbing or heating installation, equipment system start-up, troubleshooting, or system maintenance is a plus.

On‑job and vendor equipment‑specific training are provided and paid for by the Company. Pay is commensurate with experience, and increases are awarded based on merit and performance.

Position is day shift, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour.

Drug Testing, and background check required before employment start date.
