Salary Range: $32.00 To $45.00 Hourly

The On-call CDL A Driver “Driver” reports to the Remediation Department. The Driver is responsible for the transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials via multiple vehicle types including but not limited to Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, Air Movers, etc. The Driver also performs tasks under the direct guidance of a supervisor including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing and various other remedial activities.

This position is on-call only, will support our Remediation projects across the country, and must be based out of one of our field offices. This role will include heavy amounts of travel, as needed, along with local work to support the branch’s ongoing operations.

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Adherence and documentation of all transportation compliance requirements including inspection reports, mileage logs, trip reports, etc.
• Predominately local work with occasional mandatory out-of-town travel. Additional opportunities to volunteer for extra OTR routes.
• Ability to load and unload different types of waste effectively.
• Capability to operate light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer, preferred. Providing administrative support to operations team
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
• Operates light and heavy equipment, not limited to forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles.
• Attends mandatory training to earn certifications and obtain information specific to responsibilities.
• Ensure all proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
• Works “on-call” based on a rotating schedule for emergency response. May require out-of-town travel. Length of travel will vary, based on service center and ongoing project requirements.
• Willing to comply with ongoing and random drug testing and health physicals as required by the company and our clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Able to read, write, and comprehend English, in accordance with DOT guidelines.
• Must be able to get to the field office within one hour while on-call.
• Demonstrates accountability and punctuality.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of Class A Driving experience.
• Current CDL A with a clean driving record.
• Current Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
• No manual or airbrake restrictions.
• One year of previous hazardous materials, contaminated soil, or environmental remediation experience.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER experience/certification preferred.
