Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards is required, as well as access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

General

Job Duties for All Store Team Members
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training
  • Orientation and training provided on the job.
  • Communication skills – ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Verbal communication – ability to communicate with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
  • Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Provide correct monetary change.
  • Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Use navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some work areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
  • Fumes from food odors.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 °F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
  • Talk and hear on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far vision and night vision for driving.
Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing – Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48 inches.
  • Walking – For short distances and short durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer’s location.
  • Sitting – Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.
  • Lifting – Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by hand truck. Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Carrying – Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz) carried from workstation to storage; occasionally pizza sauce weighing 30 lb; trays of pizza dough (~12 lb each) carried three at a time; during delivery carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
  • Pushing – Move trays placed on dollies; a stack of trays on a dolly requires up to 7.5 lb of force; trays may also be pulled.
  • Climbing – Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders to change signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance; during delivery navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.
  • Stooping/Bending – Forward bending at the waist necessary at pizza assembly station; duration ≈30–45 s at one time; repeated continuously; also present at front counter and when stocking ingredients.
  • Crouching/Squatting – Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Hand Tasks – Eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous; frequent activities require use of one or both hands; shaping pizza dough requires forceful use of forearms and wrists; manipulate a pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard pizza boxes; grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, and pizza boxes.
Driving Specific

Job Duties
  • Deliver product by car and then to the customer’s door.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record that meets company standards.
  • Access to insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
