Osborne Construction is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our in-house team and provide essential day-to-day support to our Financial Controller. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As the Accounting Clerk, you'll provide essential support to our financial operations, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor maintenance and payments.
  • Enter and code invoices into Quick Books Online and Sage Intacct; ensure all approvals and documentation are complete.
  • Assist with reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries.
  • Help prepare and process vendor checks, electronic payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with tracking lien waivers and maintaining vendor compliance documentation.
  • Support preparation of month-end reports and year-end documentation as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records within digital systems.
  • Seek opportunities to streamline accounting tasks and support process improvements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in construction or a project-based industry
  • Experience with Quick Books Online, Sage Intacct, or similar financial software
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable/receivable processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • $24.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience)
