Healthcare Controller | Non-Profit Experience Preferred

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

We are partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization seeking a Financial Controller to join their leadership team. This is a highly visible role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting support, internal controls, and compliance across a multi-entity environment. • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures
• Coordinate annual audit process and work closely with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Assist leadership with financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational reporting
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience
• Experience overseeing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Prior healthcare, nonprofit, multi-entity, or regulated industry experience highly preferred
• ERP/system experience with strong Excel skills
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a growing organization
