Responsibilities
The Schedule Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the daily and long‑term scheduling for 24/7 residential programs and services. To ensure all scheduling functions support timely access to care, efficient use of time, and compliance with agency and regulatory requirements. Duties include coordinating, confirming and adjusting schedules, monitoring provider availability, resolving scheduling conflicts, handling a multi‑line telephone/paging system, obtaining required documentation, and directing persons served and visitors to the appropriate staff.
There will be some direct care responsibilities for persons served.
During times when your primary responsibilities are limited, you may be asked to assist in other areas as needed to support overall operations, regardless of your specific role. This position is essential to operations and must be staffed at all times during the hours of 8:00 am–12:30 am seven days a week. Therefore, the employee in this role will need to remain in place until a replacement is arranged and able to assume responsibilities.
This position requires staff to work some holidays and will be rotated among the disciplines.
This position requires
1) a person with an Associate's degree in Human Services, Customer Service, or Business related field with experience,
2) an individual equally qualified by work experience or a combination of work experience and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education.
- Requires 2 years of experience in scheduling multi‑programs or departments
- Prefer 2 years experience with behavioral health
- Must be proficient in basic computer skills, keyboarding and word processing skills
- Must have good command of the English language; must be able to read, communicate clearly and therapeutically with persons served and staff, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and DCF Child & Adult Abuse Registry check, and other applicable background investigations.
- Possess a valid Kansas driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
$20.67 (Will consider experience/education for higher starting pay)
