Requirements- Physically fit and mentally alert; able to stand, walk, sit, lift, kneel, reach, handle, think, reason, and calculate.
- Positive attitude and professional behavior consistently displayed in all dealings with members and/or team members.
- One year of experience working with children.
- CPR/First Aid/AED for adults, infants, and children or ability to obtain certification.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to work full days Monday–Friday for the entire summer season.
- Responsible for securing reliable transportation to and from work.
- State‑specific licensing requirements as applicable.
- Leading a team of campers through their “one week” camp experiences.
- Developing youth friendships to ensure each child is connected to their camp community.
- Completing daily opening and closing procedures, as well as safety logs.
- Daily written and verbal communication with camp parents, team members, club members, and Camp Site Director.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of the campers in your care and communicating safety or behavior concerns with appropriate parties.
- Ensuring each area of the club utilized by the camp is on brand, clean, and in good repair.
- Finding coverage for sick days and communicating planned vacation days prior to the start of the season.
