Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and energetic Construction General Laborer to join our crew. This isn't just a "placeholder" job—this is a role for individuals who love the construction environment, enjoy physical work, and want to sharpen their skills alongside experienced pros.
You will be the backbone of our active job sites, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. If you have a solid foundation of construction experience and a true passion for the trade, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities- Site Preparation & Maintenance: Clear work areas, dig trenches, set up scaffolding, and prep sites to ensure a safe, efficient workflow.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and heavy equipment.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., jackhammers, drills, grinders, saws, and cement mixers).
- Assisting Skilled Trades: Work directly alongside carpenters, masons, and site foremen, learning the ropes and lending a hand on specialized tasks.
- Safety Enforcement: Strictly adhere to all OSHA regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard‑free job site.
- Proven Construction
Experience:
You already know your way around a job site. You understand the pace, the , and the basic tools of the trade. - A True Passion for the Trade: You don't just show up for a paycheck; you actually want to work in construction and take pride in a hard day's work.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly, stand, bend, and perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliability & Punctuality: You show up on time, every day, ready to give 100%.
- Team Player Mentality: You take direction well, communicate clearly, and look out for the safety of your crewmates.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to various job sites.
- Competitive Pay: $20.00– $25.00 per hour (depending on your experience).
