Duties:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Requires successful completion of in-service training program in communications related curriculum within six (6) months from start date of employment.
Requirements:
Work Type: Light, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Selection Process: Must pass selection process that includes assessment interviews, psychological evaluation, computer voice stress analyzer examination, & thorough background checks.
Hours:
Starting Pay DOQ EOE:
- $/hr.
- $45,247- 47,528/yr.
- Additional differential of $1.50/hour for hours worked after 6:00 p.m. & before 6:00 a.m.
- Additional compensation for associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees.
- Additional compensation for bilingual Spanish-speaking employees.
Paid Time Off:
- 48 hours of vacation available upon hire, additional 48 hours earned during the year (96 hours in first year).
- 96 hours of sick leave during first year.
Examination: Mandatory completion of computerized Dispatcher examination.
