Join National Dentex – a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need and we currently have labs throughout the country. We are seeking a full‑time CAD CAM Technician for the NDX Heumann Dental Lab in Topeka, KS. Regular hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, subject to change.

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position
  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentists.
  • Use computers with comfort and familiarity.
  • Operate computer‑aided design and manufacturing steps, including scanning, loading, and creating files.
  • Operate software for nesting designs to be processed during the milling/printing process.
  • Enter patient information such as name, case number, type of crown, and shade into the computer.
  • Follow all required steps to ensure consistent, accurate results.
  • Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met.
  • Clean the work area daily.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities

Required
  • Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
  • Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, and execute written and verbal instructions.
  • High level of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Proficient reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
Minimum Education And Experience Required
  • Previous dental experience is a plus.
Hazardous Materials Or Equipment Used
  • Computer and scanning equipment.
  • Small machinery and hand‑pieces.
  • Chemicals.
  • Additional related materials or equipment as required.
  • Personal protective equipment as required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and/or reach regularly.
  • Fine motor skills and capacity for repetitive motions.
  • Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color discrimination.
