Position: Dental Lab Technician (Scan/Design)

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Scan/Design) opportunity at NDX Heumann located in Topeka, KS
. This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist on each case
  • Enter patient information and scan stone models to create 3D virtual models
  • Insure all steps are followed, in order, for consistent and accurate results
  • Enter every case with proper material and tooth number
  • Adjust settings accordingly to product types
  • Keep cases organized so that the flow of work stays on schedule
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities

Required:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Excellent hand eye coordination
  • Display attention to detail
  • Time management skills required for production environment
  • Display problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
Minimum Education and Experience

Required:
  • Preferred:
    High school diploma or GED equivalent
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
  • Computer
  • Working in a laboratory environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Repetitive movement with computer mouse
  • Spend extended time in front of a computer screen
