The unit features 36 beds and offers advanced services, including high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, total body cooling, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG) monitoring. With an average daily census of 26 and approximately 500 admissions annually, the NICU delivers comprehensive care to neonates with varying levels of complexity.
Supported by an extensive range of pediatric subspecialists in cardiology, neurology, general surgery, and endocrinology, the facility ensures access to multidisciplinary expertise. The NICU's commitment to quality is reflected in its Joint Commission Disease-Specific Certification in the Care of Premature Babies, maintained since 2012.
