The Director provides leadership in secondary curriculum, instruction, assessment, and accreditation. The Director is responsible for designing and implementing curriculum; providing technical and instructional support to building administrators and staff; leading district-level initiatives; and managing assigned budgets and programs.

Terms of EmploymentSalary and work year to be established by the Auburn-Washburn Board of Education. Salary is commensurate with skills, education, and experience.

Qualifications Certificates/Licenses/Endorsements/Registrations- Kansas administrative license required
- Kansas teaching license required
- Master’s degree in education required
- Experience in secondary teaching required
- Experience coordinating and developing curriculum preferred
- Deep knowledge in the areas of emerging literacy and/or numeracy instruction
