Elementary Special Education Teacher - Offerle

Tri-County Special Education Services and Ft. Larned USD 495 are looking for an Elementary Special Education Teacher at Offerle Elementary School for the  school year. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full potential.

• Kansas teaching license with the appropriate Special Education endorsement (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to design and implement individualized instruction
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to collaboration and student-centered learning

• Design and implement engaging, individualized instruction to meet student needs
• Use effective teaching strategies and adjust instruction based on student progress
• Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and provide regular reports
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Follow state statutes, school board policies, and district regulations
• Attend meetings, serve on committees, and complete assigned duties
• Maintain accurate records and ensure student safety and well‑being
• Stay current on best instructional practices, including educational technology
