Candidate must have a high school diploma; college hours are helpful but not required. Candidate will assist classroom teachers in providing support to all students, as well as work with small groups of students.

Para educators in the low‑incidence room assist students one‑to‑one, typically, with learning and social‑emotional needs associated with an intellectual disability. Students are in the special education classroom but are also supported within their general education classroom. Hours are part‑time, approximately 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., but could vary. Starting salary is $15.65 per hour.
